Course Instructor
      Prof. Rubin received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, in 1964 and 1968, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, in 1970, all in Electrical Engineering. Since 1970, he has been on the faculty of the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Science (now the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science), where he is currently a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. Dr. Rubin has had extensive research, publications, consulting, and industrial experience in the design and analysis of commercial and military computer communications and telecommunications systems and networks. At UCLA, he leads the Autonomous Intelligent Networked Systems research group. He also teaches short courses in communication networks at UCLA Extension, and gives courses and lectures throughout the telecommunications and computer communications networking industry and for government organizations. He also serves as President of IRI Computer Communications Corporation, a leading team of computer communications and telecommunications experts engaged in software development and consulting services.
